Module 1
Dr. Tan's Core Essentials
Build a solid understanding of the Five Systems of the Balance Method and learn how to apply their underlying principles to real clinical situations. This course explores the relationships between balancing meridians through Ba Gua and the Chinese Clock, providing a logical framework for effective point selection and treatment planning.
Over three days of instruction, demonstrations, case studies, and hands-on practice, participants will develop practical skills and clinical reasoning they can begin applying immediately in their practice.
The 3-day seminar includes:
- Understanding Mirroring & Imaging: Explore the different Mirroring and Imaging formats and how to use them for optimal acupuncture point selection.
- Distal Point Techniques: Observe live demonstrations and participate in hands-on practice using distal points to address pain without aggravating the affected treatment area.
- Clinical Case Studies: Examine real cases presented by Dr. Han and participants, including complex musculoskeletal conditions involving multiple areas of the body.
- Practical Pain Management: Focus on treating musculoskeletal pain and injuries, chronic pain, and symptoms such as tingling, burning, and numbness arising from various causes.
- Effective Needling Strategies: Learn the importance of using the fewest possible needles to achieve meaningful clinical results.
- Integrating Theory & Practice: Reinforce foundational concepts through structured instruction, practical exercises, and needling practice to improve clinical understanding and application.
